Tasha Keiter Kearney resident, 19 Tasha Keiter, 19, of Kearney, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, July 9, 2012 at the St. James Catholic Church in Kearney with the Rev. Matt Koperski and Rev. Joe Hannappel officiating. The family will greet friends 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a vigil prayer service to be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, July 8, 2012 at St. James Catholic Church in Kearney. Tasha Marie Keiter was born April 28, 1993 in Kearney, Nebraska to David and Diane (Dunse) Keiter. She received her education at Kearney High School where she was active in the marching band and the golf team. Tasha was currently attending Hastings College where she played on the women's golf team. She enjoyed the game of golf and the people who played it and was a great competitor. Tasha was known for her fun loving spirit, beautiful smile and long gorgeous curly red hair. Her friends and family recognize her ability to lift up everyone she met with her smile and genuine love to include everyone in her excitement. She had a compassion for all animals, especially her dog “Buddy.” Tasha lived life to the fullest each day. Left to cherish her memory is her parents, David and Diane Keiter of Kearney; brothers, Ryan Keiter of Lincoln, Michael Keiter and his wife, Serah of Kearney; grandparents, Maynard and Roberta Dunse of Huntley and Joseph and Margaret Keiter of Columbus; aunts and uncles, Mary Jo Seier and husband, Vern of Norfolk, Carol Gubbels and husband, Dave of Baudette, MN, Robert Keiter and wife, Jolene of Louisville, Daniel and Belinda Keiter of Columbus, Jean Hrabe and husband, Chris of Salina, KS, Larry Keiter and wife, Laura of Denton, Dianne Keiter of Kearney; many cousins, great aunts, great uncles and a host of friends.
