Delmas L. Venable, 76 of Kearney passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney. There will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services. Delmas was born May 23, 1945 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Richard and Virginia (Booth) Venable. He was united in marriage to Judith Rein on October 14, 1966 in Gainesville, Texas. Delmas was a longtime employee of Baldwin Filters, retiring in 2007. In his spare time, he was an avid coin collector. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy Venable of Kearney; son, Lee (Nikki) Venable of La Vista, NE; granddaughter, Maty Venable of Ralston, NE; sisters, Janice Stevenson of Dumas, TX and Sherry Rawlins of Amarillo, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.
