Douglas Warner, 62 of Kearney passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney. The family will hold private memorial services on Friday, January 28, 2022. A public celebration of life and inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences may be shared online at www.osrfh.com. Services are entrusted to O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services. Douglas L. Warner was born January 9, 1960 in Omaha, Nebraska to Ivan Duane and Elaine May (Gregg) Warner. He was raised on a farm near Edison, Nebraska where he had many fond memories. He attended Arapahoe High School, graduating with the class of 1978. Doug owned and operated his own trucking company many years. Most recently he was employed at AutoOne in Kearney. Doug was involved in auto racing for many years and coached several youth football teams in Lincoln and Kearney. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Josh Warner; daughter, Breanne Warner; granddaughter, Oakley Warner all of Kearney; siblings, Melodie Stewart of Loomis and Dale Warner of Grand Island. Doug was preceded in death by his parents.
