Gary Laughlin

Marvin “Gary” Laughlin, 86 of Kearney passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at St. Luke’s Good Samaritan Home in Kearney. Services will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences may be shared online at www.osrfh.com. Services are entrusted to O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services. Gary was born September 26, 1935 in Omaha, Nebraska to Grafton and Agatha (Brothers) Laughlin. He was raised in Omaha and was a graduate of Omaha Central High School and later the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Gary was united in marriage to Dixie Rabb in Omaha, NE. He was employed as a Soil Engineer for PSI for many years. In 2007, the couple moved to Lake Ericson Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Troy (Becky) Laughlin of Elm Creek, NE, Mark (Rhonda) Laughlin of Omaha, Hale (Tonya) Laughlin of Virginia; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Grafton (Bea) Laughlin of Omaha; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob (Shirley) Rabb of Omaha. Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie; his parents; and several other extended family members.
