Jeanette Hutchinson, 83 Kearney resident Jeanette Hutchinson, 83 of Kearney passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 at her home. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Jeanette was born on May 20, 1936 in Shelbyville, TN. She was adopted at the age of five by Dave and Mary (Hicks) Raymond. She grew up in Texas and graduated in Canadian, TX in 1954. She attended college at Baylor University and Kearney State College. On January 14, 1956, Jeanette was united in marriage to Edward “Jack” Hutchinson in Waco, TX. The couple made their home in Topeka, KS, where she worked as a secretary at the hospital and in the shipping department at a dress shop. Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Mary East of Kearney, Carol Keizer (Ron) of Albuquerque, NM, Elizabeth Collins of Port Angeles, WA, and Judy McClellan (Lee) of Tallahassee, FL; and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Don Wonderly (Pat) of Bethany, OK. Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents; and husband.
